The first people we would like to say a big THANK YOU to are St Pauls Church Defenders LOL 1960 for booking us for the Juveniles parade on the 17th April 2001 in Larne. The band would also like to thank LOL1960 for the food and refreshments provided in the community centre on our return to Belfast.
It was a great day even though the weather was terrible.

We ran a ballot for a bottle of vodka to raise much needed funds for the band in the Rangers supporters club on Easter Tuesday,we got a tremendous response and it helped our band raise some money.

We would like to thank the Larne Rangers supporters club for allowing us to hold a ballot in the club. And a big thanks to all the people who were in the club who contributed to the ballot, and a special mention to the bandsmen who were in the club who contributed to the ballot.

We took part in the Tour Of The North parade on the 15th June 2001 with LOL 1960.The band received a email from a member of St Pauls Church Defenders LOL 1960.Which made us feel very welcome. We would like to thank all of the LOL 1960 for booking us for Easter Tuesday, Tour Of The North, 12th July. This is the email which was sent.

From a proud member of LOL 1960.

"I feel I should congratulate the band for an outstanding
performance on Friday night at the Tour Of The North parade. Although the
weather was not good to us it did not effect the bands performance and I
would like to thank the band on behalf of my Lodge. We shall look forward to
walking to the sound of Crown Defenders F.B. on the Twelfth of July 2001
regardless of where the parade may be going"

NO SURRENDER

A special thanks is to the Gordan family.
